Peter Soms collection opened the second day of nyfw on a very pretty note! The collection was filled with pretty pinks,pastel blues, elegant midriffs , ladylike lace, adorable knits , glimmering floral embellishments and lots of peter som florals! I think collection was really ladylike and pretty with a chic spring/summer twist! The showed opened with light pinks and florals with fab tweed items and cute playful dresses in blues and pinks which I really died for! In my show notes I wrote "Love the shorts" they were knee length and wide they had a relaxed less polished attitude to them which I lik in contrast to the ladylike looks! Then there were the flowing silk printed pieces which i found to be cool and quite bohemian also another cool feature to this collection was the graphic multi color and multi textural looks! The start of the collection was a pretty elegant ladylike look and as the collection progressed became more bohemian and cool but still with a polished elegance especially when it came to the metallic leopard print which I think looked fab and cool! The final looks of the collection were fab satin embellished pieces which brought back the lady to the collection. Overall was super fab contrast and there are a fab variety of great pieces for spring!
